Center for Interventional Spine (CIS) is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our established medical practice.
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist (PT) Assistant is under the supervision of the Physical Therapist and assists with the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
The PT Assistants’ goal is to assist in returning our patients to their highest level of functionality through a multi-disciplinary approach.

Licensure must be acquired by passing the National Physical Therapy Exam from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
*Qualifications/Requirements:*
* Must have graduated from an accredited PTA program
* Must have Associate’s Degree
* Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician & PT orders
* Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
* Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
* Help run the work conditioning program
* Assist in the functional restoration program
