Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic medical record systems
- Collect and update patient information, including medical records and insurance details
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or receptionist is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical administrative procedures and patient service principles
- Proficiency in using Microsoft application/programs such a word, excel and outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
- Bilingual in Spanish
