WHAT YOU'LL DO
Summary
The Resource Center Coordinator works independently with patients using Resource Center materials and outreach materials and provides general support to patients and visitors as needed.
Resource Center Coordinator serves as the face and voice of the Elica Resource Center (ERC), bridging the gap between the resources and the community.
Essential Job Functions
? Assist Resource Center visitors;
? Assist Elica patients in navigating when they encounter difficulties and questions after appointments;
? Working with visitors and patients to inform them about their opportunities (information on social and community programs, as CHDP, EWC, Medi-Cal, EBT, etc.
);
? Assisting patients in removing barriers to their information;
? Assisting new immigrants in removing barriers to their information;
? Maintain confidentiality regarding patients’ personal information;
? Attending Outreach events as needed;
? Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
AA degree required and 1 year of related work experience in a primary care office or FQHC preferred
OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years of related work experience in a primary care office or FQHC
Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
Bilingual in English and one of the following languages: Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Pashto, ASL.
Proficiency including use of email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace products
Previous experience with EHR systems, preferably OCHIN EPIC and PointCare systems highly preferred
Essential Skills/Abilities

? Skill in maintaining medical documentation;
? Professional demeanor and appearance;
? Efficient with time management;
? Experience with coordinating between different medical departments;
? Required fluency in Spanish or Farsi/Dari o Russian/Ukrainian.

Additional Requirements
Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.
