Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team.
As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to nurses and other medical professionals in delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities: - Assist nurses with various tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medication under their supervision - Provide basic patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding - Assist with patient mobility and transfers - Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems - Follow proper procedures for catheterization and catheter care - Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during procedures - Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients - Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients in acute care or senior care settings - Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and apply it to patient care - Assist with airway management as needed Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role preferred - Completion of an accredited nursing assistant program or equivalent training - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices - Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team Skills: - Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems - Ability to catheterize patients and provide catheter care - Experience in acute care or senior care settings - Knowledge of physiology and its application in patient care - Familiarity with aseptic technique for infection control measures - Understanding of airway management procedures We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including healthcare coverage, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.
