Duties:
Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety.
Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Help with laundry and other household tasks as needed.
Assist with medical documentation and record keeping.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current HHA Certificate for the state of California.
Current CPR Certificate.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Previous experience as a home health aide or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Any other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.
