*Heritage Oaks Hospital* is a freestanding, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital dedicated to serving the greater Sacramento area.
We provide treatment to teens, adults and seniors living with mental health challenges.
*Position Description *An Outpatient clinician provides quality psychotherapeutic and case management services to all patients and their families, to serve as a member of interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's outpatient treatment program and philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to patients and their families.
Key responsibilities include the facilitation of group therapy under the supervision of a licensed therapist, case management services including providing basic consultation, teaching, treatment planning, participation in multidisciplinary treatment team, crisis intervention, discharge planning, coordination of care with follow up providers and identified support person(s) and provide support to team members as needed.
The Outpatient Clinician (Licensed or Unlicensed) can be in-person or remote (virtual).
The Virtual Outpatient Clinician will work closely with the Virtual Coordinator to manage a caseload of patients who are participating in programming.

Registration with California Board of Behavioral Sciences as AMFT or ASW within 30 days of hire.
_*Experience*_: One (1) year of experience in behavioral health is preferred.
Prefer direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills preferred.
Must have strong clinical assessment skills.
_*Additional Requirements:*_ Handle with Care training within 90 days of employment and CPR (training provided in-house).
May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
