Department: County Staffing Location: Sacramento, CA, USA Pay Rate: $30 - $33 per hour Pay Type: per hour Benefits: None Employment Type: Per Diem Overview: Avid Healthcare Services is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN's) to work at Sacramento Clinic in Northern California.
You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of assigned patients.
We have NOC and AM Per Diem work available!! Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Requirements may include: Current LVN License Valid Drivers License Pass Background Check Current Neg.
PPD or Chest X-Ray Current CPR/BLS Certification Administer medical care to ill or injured patients Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records Qualifications: Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process Qualified applicants are eligible for: Flexible hours/Scheduling/Per Diem Competitive Pay Direct Deposit available 24 hour on-call services Travel Incentives (if applicable) Generous referral bonuses Shift Days range from Monday-Sunday 12 Hour Shifts NOC and AM *This is NOT a travel position* *2 weekend days/month availability is required.
(2 Saturdays, 2 Sundays or Sat/Sun) *Assignments are located & required in both Downtown Sacramento & Elk Grove locations *Scheduled days/shifts & location are based on the facility needs *Both facilities are open seven (7) days a week.
