We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven individual to join our team as the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management.
The Senior Director will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our organization's revenue cycle operations to ensure efficient and effective financial performance.
Responsibilities:
1.
Lead and manage the overall revenue cycle management function, including billing, coding, collections, denial management, and revenue integrity.
2.
Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to maximize revenue cycle performance, enhance cash flow, and improve financial outcomes.
3.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, clinical, and IT, to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue enhancement.
4.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, providers, and external vendors, to ensure compliance with billing and reimbursement requirements.
5.
Analyze revenue cycle data and trends to identify areas of improvement, implement corrective actions, and monitor progress towards established goals.
6.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory updates related to revenue cycle management, and proactively recommend and implement changes to ensure compliance.
7.
Develop and manage the revenue cycle department budget, including staffing, training, and technology investments, to ensure optimal resource utilization.
8.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to revenue cycle staff, encouraging professional growth, promoting a positive work environment, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
9.
Prepare and present regular reports and updates to executive leadership and other stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
2.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in revenue cycle management, preferably within a healthcare organization.
3.
In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle operations, including billing processes, coding principles, reimbursement methodologies, and compliance regulations.
4.
Proven track record of successfully implementing revenue cycle improvement initiatives, optimizing cash flow, and enhancing financial performance.
5.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
6.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
7.
Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle technology, including EMR, billing systems, and revenue cycle analytics tools.
8.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) certification preferred.
9.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, drive change, and foster a culture of excellence.
