The HR Representative II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for assisting in providing general human resource support for the Microbiology OpCo.
and works with HR business partners on strategic and operating plans in support of their client groups.
The incumbent will be responsible for administering and executing human resource programs including but not limited to Hiring and Onboarding, Terminations, Compensation and Benefits, Performance and Talent Management, Training and Development, Employee Relations, Recognition and other associate Engagement actions.
This position is part of the Microbiology team, located in Sacramento, CA and will be an on-site, position with onsite presence at least 3 days / week.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide HR partnership including coaching and guidance to managers and associates across a wide variety of HR activities from Onboarding to Terminations, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, and other associate Engagement actions.
Support cyclical HR processes and programs like Performance Review, Compensation Planning, Engagement Survey, etc.
throughout the year including training on process and systems to small and large group forums and providing general support to associates and managers.
Lead employee relations, respond to employee concerns, and partners with managers to maintain positive employee relations for client group.
Drives and manages Performance Management processes including coaching leaders on tough conversations, performance improvement plans and ensuring leaders are following through with the annual performance process.
Drives talent acquisition process aligned with standard work, working directly with talent acquisition team to source, interview and hire talent to fill open positions while guiding managers.
Provides guidance to managers on job description, job leveling and works with local Compensation SME to adhere to FLSA criteria.
Writing reports, conduct data analysis, to drive actions and outcomes on HR related projects in support of the business functions.
Identify, implement, participate, and support the delivery of a variety of HR projects and programs related to engagement, compensation, talent management, Diversity & Inclusion.
The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or equivalent combined with 2+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 0-2 years’ experience Working knowledge of CA Employment Law Legislation and employee relations practices.
Previous Experience working with an HR Analytics, HR database, identifying patter and providing recommendation based on the analysis.
Demonstrated planning and organization skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly adaptive with ability to drive process discipline whenever possible but flexible enough to seek solution to the problem in a fast paced and often changing environment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: • Workday HRIS • Experience with Employee Relation Issues and managing Leave of Absence • Experience in talent acquisition, including competency-based recruitment, process management, metrics, and onboarding.
• Experience delivering training programs and experience with talent management processes.
The salary range for this role is 65,000k to 95,000k.
This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
