Seeking Drummer • Foothills / Sacto Area
Experienced pro bass player, and singer - putting together and reforming a trio (possibly 4-piece) BLUES / ROCK (mostly blues) band — and looking for an experienced Drummer (vocals a plus but not required).
Age range 60s (50-70); preferred but not required
Doing a fun band with good musicians who want to have a fun good band.
Relaxed.
Easy going.
Good attitude.
Reliable.
Pro equipment.
Not into big drinking, drugging or drama.
Or big egos.
No smokers.
Looking to play gigs as they come up when we feel we want to and are ready to gig; and if and we’d like to do them (if you’ve got gigs - we can play them).
But having fun and putting together a good band with good fun players, is the first priority and focus.
If you’re looking for a band to instantly jump into with lots of gigs, this won’t be for you.
Prefer casual private and/or corporate gigs, house parties, wineries, fairs, festivals, video streaming gigs, and easier gigs where we aren’t chasing down and dealing with venue owners who pay little, expect the band to do all the marketing and instantly pack the place, and to play mostly for people who are there to mainly get drunk and/or laid (or both).
Been there; done that and it’s gotten old, boring, exhausting, and not worth the time or energy trying to peddle the band for.
Rehearse weekly.
Have a nice PA and place to rehearse.
