Hi, I am seeking a non-traditional piano teacher! I’m interested in composition, and just learning to play.
However, I’m 57 years old, I will not be a concert pianist, and music theory is really an extremely low priority.
It seems that teachers really want to push this which I understand for the appropriate situation.
However, that is not what I’m interested in.
It will slow me down immensely.
I’m looking for someone who’s innovative who does not walk the traditional path, or can walk both, just walk on my path as needed.
Right now I’ve been working on my own.
I started the Alfred adult piano book in July and we did not work on it too much.
I had about three lessons, having had piano lessons as a child and hating it.
Lol.
But now I love love love piano.
I work hard.
I need about 2 to 3 songs at one time.
if I practice one over and over, it gets worse and worse and worse.
My mind operates a different way.

neither has responded.
