JOIN OUR GROOVY FUNK/METAL SCHREDD REVOLUTION
We are searching for the right vocalists and guitarists to complete our all-original band, "Los Mutha Funkers," a funk/metal, groovy, danceable hybrid.
Imagine with me: Superstition by - Stevie Wonder, but Periphery sounding guitars played it.
Play That Funky Music - But Volumes did it, Shes a Brick House - But Periphery or Killswitch Engage did it, Super Freak - But with a sound as if KORN, ERRA, or MONUMENTS did it.
1st guitarist is locked in, looking for 2 more.
VOCALIST: - It's a tall order, but we're sure you're out there: Can sing both clean and edgy, genuine vibrato, falsetto, have stage presence, 20 - 45, have no ego/drama, a mature together life, willing to be a committed member of a team.
Imagine a Bruno Mars/Prince type of singer mixed with Howard Jones from the Killswitch Engage days - That's kind of what were looking for.
A professional band is a form of a small tribe; A tribe seeks to improve and elevate the accomplishments of its members.
A team mindset is a must.
Join us and be a part of the beginning.
Los Mutha Funkers is a sound vision we will die for.
Jason here, drummer with studio experience and live performance experience, no ego/drama, no substance abuse, enjoys good music and great people, and wants to create something fun and different.
We own an 8,000-watt PA, Full Mixer, etc.
I live in Orangevale, and I'm down to practice for a realistic 4-8 hours per week, record, do some shows, promote, release, and see what happens.
Nobody knows you better than you.
If you're the flakey-inconsistent type, that's fine, there are no judgments here; just don't message us at all.
If you need a reference for what this would sound like, it's too easy.
